CommuniTEA provides a space and time for 2S/LGBTQIA+ identified Asian/American, Desi, Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander, Southwest Asian and North African (SWANA) resident of this area to make connections, build community, and provide input about what are the needs and interests of our diverse groups. 

HAPI in collaboration with Queer Humboldt held the first informal community gathering for 2S/LGBTQIA+ identified Asian/American, Desi, Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander, Southwest Asian and North African (SWANA) residents of Humboldt County and our surrounding areas. CommuniTEA provided an opportunity to share space and stories towards building a community focused on our intersecting identities.
